Metro Manila · '70s Bistro
'70s Bistro in Anonas is one of the hippest places in Quezon City. Although difficult to find if you do not frequent the area, getting there is worth it because live music is played at the bistro every night from Monday to Saturday. The entrance fee is around 100 to 200 pesos and the dishes served in the Anonas hangout place range from less than 60 to around 300 Pesos.
The place used to be as laidback as Conspiracy Garden Café but renovations were done to the place to make it look more modern. Smoking is not allowed inside the bistro since this is a closed location and the ventilation isn’t stellar. Aside from this, the '70s Bistro experience is alright. It is basically a good way for you to get to know the Philippines a little better because the bands that play at the bistro usually sing Original Pinoy Music (OPM). There are also foreign bands that play at the bistro since the management is quite particular with the bands that play there each night. Many popular bands in the country have performed at ‘70s Bistro.
There’s very sophisticated live music every night from Monday to Saturday.
Why Megacitizens Should Pay This Establishment A Visit
Go to '70s Bistro if you want to get a feel of the local pubs in Manila. However, one should keep in mind that ‘70s Bistro is still a lot different from other bars because sometimes there are poetry reading sessions and bands sing folk songs. If you want to go to a place where the artist community in the metro gathers, this is the place to be.
