Metro Manila · Mall of Asia Arena
With a seating capacity of 16,000 and a full house capacity of 20,000, Mall of Asia Arena is the biggest event venue in the Megacity.
Since its opening in mid-2012, the Mall of Asia Arena hosts big sport matches and pop concerts, beauty pageants like the upcoming "Miss Earth 2013" in December, and family shows such as "Disney Live!".
Regarding sports, the arena is venue for national and international basketball matches as well as for events of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines with their popular Cheerdance Competition.
When it comes to live music, Mall of Asia Arena presents mainly international top acts like Lady Gaga or Rihanna, and national superstars like Regine Velasquez. A full-house concert in the arena is a unique experience. When the place does not fill, however, it can diminish the atmosphere, as concert-goers might feel lost when the vast hall is half-empty.
The arena is also near a number of restaurants so you can grab a meal before going to the concert grounds.
Tickets can be bought via smtickets.com.
