For those who like their Sunday shopping tours more laid-back, Legazpi's open-air market is a welcome alternative to the nearby Greenbelt and Glorietta malls with their flashiness, noise, and crowds.

Strolling through the Legazpi Sunday Market is a popular weekend activity, especially among the expats and Megacitizens who live in the surrounding condominiums of Legazpi Village and Salcedo Village.

The market offers a wide range of locally produced cosmetics, arts, and handicrafts. But the main reason to visit it are certainly the homemade delicacies from all over the Philippines, Asia, and the rest of the world. It is also one of the few places in Metro Manila where you can choose from a wide selection of organic and vegetarian food. Do not be afraid to share a table with other market visitors – the more the merrier.

After buying some souvenirs or household accessories and after enjoying a sumptuous meal with friends or family, we recommend to take a walk in the adjacent Legazpi Activity Park and the Washington SyCip Park.
